Recyclable lanyards

Our eco-friendly lanyards, and our many other eco-friendly identification products, help to protect the environment. All are made from recycled, biodegradable or compostable materials. Among these products, three possibilities:

• Recycled polyester lanyards
• Bamboo fibre lanyards
• Compostable lanyards

The polyester lanyards are made from recycled plastic. Polyester gives a strong, durable result, reusable many times. Among them, you can choose between satin-finish lanyards, for a brighter appearance and a pleasant feel, or the sturdier lanyards with ribbed texture, which can be used at a steady pace without risk of excessive wear. Then again, bamboo lanyards are a popular eco-friendly choice, offering reliability and durability. These are made from biodegradable cellulose fibre, keeping the present and future impact on the environment as low as possible. We also offer a compostable version. These eco-friendly lanyards are made from biodegradable organic cotton.

The different fastening systems

Our selection of lanyards lets you choose between different types of fasteners to keep your badge firmly in place. Remember, these are also quite suitable for the eco-friendly badge holders in the same range. The compostable model is equipped with a safety clip and a wide anti-swivel carabiner made from organic materials. Fasteners such as carabiners and clips offer great flexibility. They allow badges to be attached and removed quickly and easily. This option is ideal if you need to change badges regularly for any reason. We also have cord models with an anti-rotation clip that allows you to always display your badge in the right position. For activities involving contact with work equipment or industrial machinery, it's advisable to add a safety fastener to your lanyard. This system is automatically released if too much pressure is exerted on the lanyard. So it prevents strangulation, thus reducing the risk of an accident.

At PDC we apply two different printing methods. Screen printing, often used on cords because of its durability and the vibrant colours it achieves.
